Recorded at Studio Latency using a keyboard, a crap guitar, a microphone, a v-amp and a steel pot. Arcaic Landscapes is the continuing, fullfilment and end of what I did with the recording of Winter of Old ( appearing on the Necroblast album Hail Death, also here on bandcamp). The keyboard is the main instrument, it plays the melodies, the guitar plays drop-d rock riffs, all to the rythm of the keyboard drum tracks. In the intro there is also some kind of throat singing, orginally it was a liturgy on the descending of the Cosmodrome and the coming of the Cosmoid called Apoteos Kosmoid, but the liturgy choir sounded to bad, so I cut away all tracks except the beating on the pot, the throat singing and the synth drone bass lead.
Arcaic Landscapes is a journey, and you can follow it visually on the cover (a bit harder if you only can look on it at the screen), as the first track begins at the shore of the lake, and with each song the music rises to the eternal fields, to the battlefield where the walkyrian winds blow, to the mountain pass where all is shrouded in fog and clouds, up to the far away lands near the moon, and finally, we cannot go further without leavinf this world, and all there is left is the reflection of the moon in the water of the lake. Thus, it is a circel, we are back where we began, and still , something is changed.
